If you're a mom with preschool age or younger kids, it can be difficult to connect with other women. That's why we've created the Green Acres Play Group. Each month, we have planned activities and times we can get together to fellowship.

Safari Adventure Tuesday, September 18, 2007 (9:30am to 11:30am) We will explore the wildlife at Memorial Park by having a picture scavenger hunt.Meet by the entrance of the pool at Memorial Park.Wear your safari gear if you like.Please bring a drink for yourself and a snack to share.FREE EVENT!
Bring your “pumpkin” to the Pumpkin Patch Tuesday, October 16, 2007 (9:30am to 11:30am) The pumpkin patch has a petting zoo, playground area, hayrides, etc. This event will cost approximately $5.00. Traditional Thanksgiving Snack at

Park Tuesday, November 13, 2007 (9:30am to 11:30am) Come dressed as an Indian or a Pilgrim. We will have our own version of the first Thanksgiving with “popcorn” and juice. We can meet at the picnic pavilion by the park and then play. FREE EVENT!
Christmas Party Tuesday, December 11, 2007 (9:30am to 11:30am) We will sing songs, tell a story, and do a craft with Mrs. Robin.We will meet in the upper fellowship hall at

Valentine Party Tuesday, February 12, 2008 (9:30am to 11:30am) We will decorate cookies at the Cookie Creamery (Hwy 316 across from Wal-Mart) and hear a Valentine Story.The Cookie Creamery has a cookie decorating kit for less than $2.00 per child.
Easter Egg Hunt Tuesday, March 18, 2008 (9:30am to 11:30am) Join us at the Womack’s home (1050 Stone Shoals Court Watkinsville, GA) for Easter fun.Please bring 10 filled eggs per child and a basket to hunt eggs.
Discover the COLORS of Spring Tuesday, April 15, 2007 (9:30am to 11:30am) We will walk around the gardens playing a game to find all the different colors of spring.After/during our walk we will have a snack. We will meet at the entrance of the Botanical Gardens Visitor Center. Strawberry Pickin at
