Josh Stephenson, Next Generation Minister

3. Education:
B.S. in Sports Business, University of Georgia, 2006

4. Salvation Experience:
I accepted Christ at the age of 9 at my house, in my bathtub, after Church one Sunday. I guess you could say I was baptized during my salvation. Just kidding.

5. Work/Ministry experiences:
I have been heavily involved in ministry since 2003. I have previously served as the President of FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) for 3-years at UGA, youth assistant for Union Baptist Church in Madison County, served with Crosspoint as a Bible study leader and soccer coach, and worked numerous youth camps throughout my life. I have been with GABC, as the Next Generation Minister, since December of 2006.

December 18, 2006 as Next Generation Minister

7. Family Members:
Autumn and I were married in December 2007. Autumn is a UGA graduate (her degree is in Speech Communications). She currently works at the UGA Alumni Association as an Administrative Assistant. My parents are Terry and Judy Stephenson of Ila, GA and I have a younger brother, Jacob, who is 19.

8. Hobbies, favorite books, music:
I love to play and watch all sports, but especially baseball and football. I will bleed Red and Black for the rest of my life! I am also an avid outdoorsman. Some of my favorite books include: Wild at Heart, Every Man's Battle, and obviously the Word of God. I love all types of music but am especially fond of: Third Day, Switchfoot, Casting Crowns, Grits, Toby Mac, David Crowder, Chris Tomlin, Shawn McDonald, and of course The Point band.

9. Secret Ambition:
I have always wanted to learn how to play the guitar and piano. If you have some time, a lot of time, I'm ready!
