Adults - Senior Adults

Green Acres Baptist Church is rich with the blessing of senior adults. We find our senior adults involved in many ministry opportunities as participants, teachers, leaders and encouragers. God is using our senior adults and fulfilling His purpose in their lives as they minister to others.

Bible study on Sunday mornings is the core ministry for our senior adults. Classes are available for women, men and couples. Bible study classes provide a place for our senior adults to grow in their walk with Christ and build meaningful relationships.

On the fourth Wednesday of each month, at 11:00am, our JOLLY ELDERS (55+) meet for a luncheon and a wonderful time of fellowship. The programs for JOLLY ELDERS vary from entertaining to informative. Day trips and overnight trips are also scheduled as an encouragement for greater fellowship.

Our senior adults also have an opportunity to minister through the JUBILEE FELLOWSHIP. This is our senior adult choir that meets every Tuesday (September-May) at 10:00am and travels throughout the area singing in retirement centers and nursing homes.
